Qualifications, previous experience and role within the BioCop project:
PhD in Chemical Science at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata".  PhD Fellowship at the Dublin City University developing a competition immunosensor for Atrazine".  Post Doc Fellowship at the University of Rome "Tor Vergata" in 2001 working in the innovative technologies of analysis and using the biosensors technology for the manufacturing control and improvement of the organoleptic and nutritional quality of the wine".
Assistant Professor in Analytical Chemistry at the Chemical Science and Technology Department, of the University of Rome Tor Vergata.
Experienced in the development of immunosensors based on enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA).
 
Role in BioCop: the study and development of new rapid method of the analysis for the detection of organochlorine pesticides using screen printed electrodes.
