The BioCop 2009 International Fellowship Programme is now open for applications
BioCop are pleased to announce that after three successful BioCop fellowship winners, the 2009 Fellowship programme is now International and open to promising young researchers who are from outside the BioCop project.
The BioCop Fellowship scheme was founded by the Top Management Group and is aimed at allowing women researches (candidates can be of both genders but female applicants may be considered favourably if all other conditions are the same) to apply for an opportunity to spend up to two weeks at an institute or research centre of their choice (within the BioCop consortium) for study visit or research related activity.
Applicants are invited to submit an application form containing a brief description of their planned visit (location, research area/technology/skill). In addition applicants must describe how the project will add value to their current research activity and future career.
Aims
- To promote participation in Food Safety Research
- To provide opportunity of having an insight to a large international collaborative project
- To provide targeted training in new technology
- To provide career development opportunities for the future
Eligibility
- The BioCop International Fellowship accepts applications from promising scientists worldwide
- Candidates must have no more than 8 years active postdoctoral experience
- Candidates must be Postdoctoral researchers undertaking research in Food Safety
- Candidates can be of both genders but female applicants may be considered favourably if all other conditions are the same
