Sue Hefle Memorial Prize for the Best Student Poster

The IXth International Conference on AgriFood Antibodies (ICAFA) recently took place at the Thon Hotel Vettre in Asker, Norway. This four day event took place from the 10th to 13th September 2007.

The Aim of the Agri-Food Antibodies Conference was to discuss the use of antibody-based analytical techniques in the Agricultural and Food Industries for the prevention of contamination, adulteration and misrepresentation in food stuffs.

Partners from the BioCop project presented a poster detailing Monoclonal antibody-based indirect competitive ELISA for the detection of T-2 toxin in wheat, maize, and baby food. (K. Grossalber, N. Duman, A.Molinelli, M. Führer, B. Galler, R. Krska, S. Baumgartner)

The poster focuses on the T2-Antibodies which were produced within BioCop and received the ''Sue Hefle Memorial Prize" for the best student poster on the 12th September 2007.
