The Latest Advances in Chemical Food Analysis Safety

BioCop are pleased to announce that the Latest Advances in Chemical Food Analysis Safety Open Day will take place at the Central Science Laboratory (CSL) on the 3rd September 2008. It is our pleasure to invite all interested stakeholders to attend this event.

During this event we will give an update of the progress in the development of new & innovative technologies aimed at providing better ways to monitor, detect and control chemical contaminants which may be present in a wide range of foods. Examples of innovations in control of endocrine disruptors, drug residues and natural toxins will be presented. There will also be demonstrations of a number of novel biosensor technologies developed during the project.

For those involved in securing the food supply chain in relation to unwanted chemical contaminants attendance at the meeting is strongly recommended.
